In this group project, we were given an existing space to redesign and reconfigure. The space given to us is a restaurant located within a college facility. The objective was to not only redesign an existing space but to also practice working in a group setting. We also had the opportunity to experience an on sight visit like one might do in the real world.
In the design we decided to incorporate an oversized display screen that can also be hooked up to any other kind of device in order to not only incorporate our design concept of changing scenery but also for a multipurpose use. The client explained to us that they also use the space sometimes for meetings so we though this would help with any presentations they might do. We also decided to extend the walls out more to create more seating space.
