Brandon H. Boulden

This 7.5' figure of Poseidon began as a smaller 2' clay sculpture that a co-sculptor and I created. I used a NextEngine Scanner to create a 3d scan, which was then layers of 5lb foam was applied layer by layer. The foam was routed via a cnc router. Fiberglass creates a shell around the foam, and is then coated with gypsum.


This product was commissioned as part of a set design.
