BC Showcase

Designed as an interpretive and hosting facility
for the Province of BC during the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, the BC Showcase involved the exhibit design and interior renovation of two former restaurant spaces at Robson Square. The Showcase tells the story of British Columbia’s contemporary culture, its diversity, and its entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on success through innovation. The project was unique in that it told part of the innovation story directly through the technology and materials used in the renovation of the space itself. The mandate of the showcase was to demonstrate and highlight innovation and sustainability through the use of products donated by selected BC companies. The target audience was international business delegations and to a lesser extent the general public. Extensive use of digital media and multi-screen video completed the experience. My role: design lead, project manager.
