Capital Chemist Communications Package

Having worked within community pharmacy for over five years I had experienced difficult times communicating with patients. An extremely common exchange between pharmacy assistants and patients is accepting a patient’s prescription. The pharmacy assistant has a responsibility to attain information from the patient. One piece of information that is gathered is the patients desire to be given a generic brand or not. This informed the focus for the project, providing pharmacy assistants with tools they could use to support their discussion with patients. The communications package contains a promotional poster, paper bag information leaflet and brochure, and display cards. By utilising these tools, pharmacy assistants would be able to inform patients quicker about the brand and generic medicines they are choosing. Project conducted with the support of Capital Chemist.
