Walker - Mobility for an aging generation is always an issue. With the “Baby-Boomer” generation reaching retirement age, options for maintaining an independent lifestyle will become more important than ever.
Research was conducted by interviewing both individuals that use walkers, and university professionals responsible for customizing mobility devices for patients. The final design needed to be lightweight, sturdy, adaptable to the needs of the individual, and easy to transport.
