We love those weeks when we get a variety of totally different design projects that are all extremely high-quality. This week the Coroflot community shared a number of projects each representing their own style of design, all of which were compelling in the sheer creativity and clarity of vision. Here are the five designs that blew us away this week...

OMAH DHUWUR by Edwin Indera Waskita

Omah's competition home design is an airy structure that feels earthy and is clearly aimed to cohabitate comfortably with a natural environment, whether that be urban or rural. He also presents the design in detail, even explaining the materials, which is always a plus.

Vegetable Literacy Poster & Book Cover by Yana Beylinson

Lovely typography and illustration make Yana's book cover design the perfect fit for this book by renowned vegetarian chef Deborah Madison. The letterpress poster is hand-drawn and has an organic feel, much like the recipes in the book.

Star Wars Death Star Toaster by Raymond Clepper

Just when you think you've seen every single piece of Star Wars merchandise possible, something new comes along. In this case, it's the almighty Death Star toaster. This is about as nerdy as it gets, but Raymond's design is actually a simple and on-point representation that even a casual fan would recognize on your counter. Just make sure to keep your toast away from the dark side. If you think this is crazy, wait until you see the light saber immersion blender!

Vamps by Kayan Kwok

Kayan's collection of graphic design collages bring to mind mixed media art in the way they combine vintage illustration with modern images and photos. These eloquent compositions also have a dark creepy quality to them, making them perfect for Halloween!

BEAMS Autumn/Winter 2016 by Amelia Jang

To quote the designer herself, this collection is "all about construction, dramatic cutting, and statement pieces." Indeed, Amelia's work here is bold and dramatic, and the monochromatic pieces she uses to build her looks leave a striking impression.
