Osage orange and black walnut two of my favorite woods
To give the steel a heat treatment finished, I put the table structure inside a great fire outside. the high temperature, gave the steel a very nice grey blue color.

Dinning table; Butternut and Black walnut. two trees that fell down during a storm in the vicinity of my studio. I cut the lumber and milled it at the shop.
the legs and frame are made of steel heat treated and covered with transparent lacquer. everything fabricated at the shop.
