Jock McDonald’s Tapestretic weaves are an amalgamation of photography and woven works. Each piece is unique. The photographs are cut into strips and re-assembled into a new, physically pixelated piece, controlled to the point of entropy. The image loses itself as the weave is created, and becomes an example of control leading to the loss of control.
