Role
From concept through install I chose color schemes and typefaces, designed info hierarchy/graphic panel systems and wall murals. Took 3D designer sketches and created graphic elevations for client review and final production files.
Objective
To take complex and timely scientific breakthroughs and making them both understandable and fun, through the use of clear, lively type, graphics and illustrations, and punchy color.
Results
An 8,000 sq. ft. permanent exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, that has been highlighted in the New York Times and Museum Magazine.

Brain Sciences Brochures - Brown University

I designed the brochure and insert.
Objective
With limited imagery, I was to design a brochure that would be sent to all upcoming students to promote the newly founded Brain Sciences Department at Brown University. The brochure design was to parallel the website graphics I had designed.
Results
A nicely designed tri-fold brochure with insert.

I designed the graphics for the Brain Sciences web site and worked with a programmer to implement.
Objective
Establish a departmental web site to describe the Brain Sciences Program to potential students and to be used by staff.
Results
Still in use after 6 years.

Role
I did the design, layout and typography of these promotional cards.
Objective
KPC asked me to design 2 promo pieces for their company, which they could give out at an AAM conference.
Results
KPC is now using these cards as their main promo pieces to send to potential clients.
