To take advantage of the warm and sunny weather of Miami, the Miami Bayside marketplace was designed to be an outdoor shopping area.
The concept of "living room" like kiosk shop areas along the first-story walkways created a need for exploration of "furniture" like point-of-purchase displays. Requirements included weather resistance, and security for after hours conditions.
