Contemplative Garden - This is a model of a "Contemplative Garden" designed to promote peace and refection. It embodies the ideals of the eight-fold path of Buddhism through circulation and represents the four noble truths through spacial organization.
Buddha Shrine 3 - The garden features three Buddha shrines which serve as resting points along the users journey.
Meandering Path 2 - There are two meandering paths both meant to symbolized a distraction from achieving enlightenment. As a design element, it serves as a beautiful pathway lined with greenery overlooking the terrace and a small adjacent stream.
The cessation of suffering is attainable - This section contains two Buddha shrines, a meandering path, a fountain lined with Buddha statues, two small streams and a terrace overlooking the riverside. It is the section that symbolizes the cessation of suffering. The main paths in this section symbolize the right effort, the right mindfulness, and the right concentration.
The origin of suffering is attachment - The right action
Life means suffering - The right view and the right intention
Seating Area 2 - These areas are resting points along the journey. When seated in this area, one has a view of their journey thus far, and the journey they will have. It serves as a time for reflection.
