Electro tract

Main Idea

Typically, to improve tractor productivity, more power is the only solution – they become bigger, and the rear implement follows this increase. But this creates various problems: less grip, road width over 2550mm, greater soil compaction, ballast requirements, reduced versatility of large tractors and greater investment. This concept would improve the productivity of tractors by 80%, while sticking with a ‘common’ horsepower tractor and implements that are typical to a medium-sized farm. A master tractor would house the driver, with the slave tractor reproducing its trajectory and movement exactly. There would be two configurations: • the slave tractor would follow the master tractor, fitted with a different implement; • the slave, fitted with the same implement, would follow the master tractor with an offset.
