Genetically Modified Food Campaign

This research project and campaign focused on the dangers of Genetically Modified (GM) foods and how little we are told about the food we put into our bodies. For example it's common for fish enzymes to be injected into tomatoes to make them frost resistant. However, this could be quite hazardous for the millions with seafood allergies.

I created several fruit and vegetable Illustrations in Adobe Illustrator, printed and hand bound a booklet with athletic tape and hap-hazardous stitching in red thread. There were 3 posters and a series of shirts. In each stage of the the GM process in the booklet and shirts, the produce gets more wild looking and the "hospital scrubs" green color gets more intense and really gives the food an unappetizing, hard to look at buzz. It's meant to make you feel nauseated. :) Enjoy!
