In our daily life, we are surrounded with lots of sounds that have great importance to comprehend the milieu. But most of these are undesirable noises such as traffic, construction or hue and cry. Although we have coping mechanism to redundant noises, we do not have the full authority. In the lights of this information we need a samart system that may control the sounds around us i.e we can silence everything or boost a sound particularly but being aware of dangers for sure.
Owls have a special ability to control the levels of sounds that they hear. Hence, they may not hear the sounds the don’t want. This was the inspiration to me when I designed.
Owl is an earbud designed for controlling the volume of the surrounding sounds. Thanks to the embedded artificial intelligence (AI) in owl, it can identify and sort out the sounds by their frequencies. The volume of the detected surrounding sounds can be adjusted separately either by simple gestures or via the touch-pads on each earbud.
