1 of 3: Original layered pickup file.
2 of 3: Original flattened pickup file.
3 of 3: FINAL layered file. Original elements had to be retouched out and additional background had to be created including tile, shelf, and counter.
1 of 2: Original flattened pickup file.
2 of 2: Final layered file. Food bars were retouched out. Color of blender was changed from red to black. Bottom of black plastic fastener was created.
1 of 2: This is one of the "before" images that I ended up compositing into the final bottle. This one was for the cap only. Others included bottle, shading, and dropper.
2 of 2: This is the final composite image. Of particular note is the fact that I created the highlights at the top of the bottle. Also, it was a particular challenge to show a see-thru bottle with a see-thru dropper, but still show the liquid in the bottle AND the liquid in the tube within the bottle.
1 of 2: This is the stock image for the woman (ie. the "before" shot)
2 of 2: I composited her on another stock background, did some general clean up of blemishes, used several adjustment layers for tones & color. Note: picking her up off the original background and having her hair still look realistic was the challenge.
1 of 2: This is the original stock "before" image.
2 of 2: I flopped the image, and added a second door, flooring, and ceiling on the left side of the image by using pieces already in the image.
1 of 2: This is the original stock "before" image.
2 of 2: The goal was first to pick her up from the white background in order to ad color behind her while still having her hair look realistic. Second, I removed the darkness around her eyes and mouth without OVER retouching her. I also did minor softening of her eyebrows & eyelashes.
1 of 2: Flooring (before) - These retouching samples involve removing blemishes in photography and correcting overall color balance. Further, large area of floor in lower-right was created to give appearance of finished flooring.
2 of 2: Flooring (after) - These retouching samples involve removing blemishes in photography and correcting overall color balance. Further, large area of floor in lower-right was created to give appearance of finished flooring.
All H20+ individual package images were shot separately. I outlined & composited all the shots proportionally, created reflections, highlights & shadows, and retouched blemishes.
This is a composite shot. Background was retouched of imperfections; cars were added along with shadows & reflections.
