When it comes to wardrobe, Hannah looks for quality and comfort. She enjoys wearing her boyfriend’s well made Duluth Trading Company shirt for an effortless look but that is where she draws the line. His hand-me-down moto clothes and gear don’t cut it for getting around town anymore. Hannah wants her motorcycling wardrobe to be made for her, not him. Thus, a new collection for Icon Motorsports, for women everywhere, just like Hannah. -Hannah, 27 of Portland metro -Marketing and Sales Manager $80,000/year -Has a black lab named Cleo. -Rides her boyfriend’s old Husqvarna around town but urban riding remains scary and unpredictable to her. -With well fitting protective outerwear, Hannah would be interested in riding more often.

Women - Underrepresented Market at Icon
In today’s moto market, women are completely underrepresented. It wasn’t until recently that women moved from the back of the bike to the driver’s seat leaving the retail environment totally unprepared. Women are forced to buy men’s motorcycle apparel and accessories because those of which that are made for women do not properly function for a motorcyclist. This is a burgeoning consumer base in the moto industry and widening the product line with better options in design could open enormous market share for companies.
