I used to love her (Obsession: Hip Hop) -
This is a depiction of a rapper by the name of Common, who wrote one of the greatest odes to hip hop, it's changes, history, and personality.
Today Common is a respected MC, and I chose him and this song as my focus simply because I too still love her.
Good music forever.

U2 - So I had 6 elements that were really important to the illustration as they were key to the history of appreciation for the Client (big fan of the band)

I started off with an idea in my head with the direction for colors but shortly into things I knew the blood red sky element would be a key factor...so I moved from the cooler hues I was planning on.
