TEN Youth

The World Economic Forum asked me to work on a project stemming from its Global Agenda Council on Youth Unemployment. I was flown to India to work with a development team on an app to help unemployed youth find meaningful work and mentoring with multinationals. It was clear that the development team was way behind schedule, as the project hadn’t budged much after 10 months of development work. I developed the brand identity for the app and wireframed the entire service. Since I only had a week, I didn’t have the time to develop a totally custom style guide, so I prioritized a working prototype over a unique design. I purchased a theme off the internet and created a complete working prototype of the service in HTML and CSS, then presented the work to the team. The lead developer said I had shaved 12 weeks off the development schedule and put the project back on track. The app is currently testing with a group in the United Kingdom.
