Coalesce is a modular console table. It is split into two halves, enabling the user to change the size of the table overall, and transport it easily. The surfaces are also in halves, so they can be combined in numerous ways, with differences in material and function. The surfaces in this instance, are a plain plywood surface, and a glass/perspex surface which has designated areas for vessels to sit within. The vessels are designated for storage of various items, e.g. everyday accessories in the cylindrical vessels, magazines in the steel vessel, and storage away from the surface, for anything that fits! Another reason the table can separate, is for easier recycling, as there will be no mixed materials.
