Eres Door - fiberglass, birch plywood, maple, aluminum, stainless steel, and lighting components; 110”x112”x12”; 2002.
It appears at first to be a wall as there is a standard size door within it, the clients enjoy surprising guests by pivoting open the entire wall. Made of translucent fiberglass it allows light to transmit during the day and at night is illuminated by phosphorescent tape light in each cell.
