The brief required a redesign of Nancy's Bordello in Newcastles Student Quarter. Our tutors made us choose a food and a drink item and our task was to present those items in an interesting environment. I chose Afternoon Tea and Gin Cocktails and presented them in a "Mad Hatter Tea Party" style. I played with the concept of distortion and how ones perception can can when they are drunk. The bar featured many optical illusions and furniture which could be reminiscent of a stage set.
