'Blum' reading chair - Winner of BGR/Cassinie International competition 2002. Subsequently put into mass production in Indonesia with intended markets in the US, Holland and Germany
'Erotic' Bottle opener - An experiment in the balance of product 'codes' and the messages inherant to them.
Chewing gum target - If people are going to spit out gum in the street, regardless of laws, incentives and campaigns etc - give them somewhere to do it! This saves the council thousands of pounds on pressure washing large areas of the street and subsequent inconvenience to the public.
'Barbona' Dip-proof rucksack - Entry for RSA 'Design against crime' competition 2003. Unique design removes all points of access from anyone but the user. 'Paulomar' high density foam outer with ballistic nylon internal pockets.
'Gravitas' Lounger - A piece of furniture which was among the work I produced for my degree show. It was intended to provoke the 'visual physics' which we attatch to materials and objects. A result of the aesthetic in the piece is that the user appears to be floating slightly above the ground, tethered by the cables and concrete.
