Uni Derby Year 1 - Boat Challenge
Pop-Pop Engine and Sail Boat - My boat design that was made entirely from recycled materials and powered by wind caugth by the sail and heat from a tea light, heating up a coiled copper pipe in the form of a pop-pop engine.
The boat had to transport a cup of sand across the local model boating lake in the 3 minute time allotted. There was hardly any wind and in that time, it managed to get over the halfway mark.
