Microsoft Events Catalog Redesign

Microsoft had a discovery problem. White their large worldwide events ("Keynotes") were managed by corporate, none of the regional training websites had a consistent look with the corporate site. To make it worse, many of these sites had their own URL and it just made it difficult for their users to find what was really available. So with that problem in mind, Microsoft approached MRM about a proposal for redesigning their events catalog on their main site. In essence, they needed all regional and global training events "under one roof" so to speak. We were tasked with developing an updated website experience that would "inspire what's possible and empower you to achieve more." Additionally, this site needed to make it easy for their users to search and browse the whole spectrum of events, see what was trending, explore popular events, etc...
