Detect-o-Saurus - I won a competition to work with LocoMatrix for week. LocoMatrix came to Brunel with ideas for their next GPS location-based game, and asked the MA design students to create a poster describing how the game might work. I called my submission 'Detect-o-Saurus' and spent the week placement helping to develop the new game, which we then tested in a local secondary school.
Detect-o-Saurus - I designed a simple mini-game that relies on information found in the first stage of Detect-o-Saurus. Once the children have successfully completed this mini-game, they have the correct information to move on to stage two.
Detect-o-Saurus - Some pictures taken during the week placement at LocoMatrix. Me getting stuck in and making the main frame for the machines, the GPS device with machine attachment in action, and me with the Colossal Fossilator (left) and the Skelly Telly (right).

Detect-o-Saurus - These are the graphics that I created for the first part of the game. These 12 fossils and skeletons appear on the display of the GPS tablet when the Colossal Fossilator scans the ground.
KFC new packaging design - I was successful in my application for a design competition set by Design Bridge. The brief was to create a new packaging concept for KFC. Working in a team of 4, we designed the 'Less of a Mess' concept. It has been showcased at the Packaging Innovations Exhibiton at the NEC, and the Made in Brunel design exhibiton in London. My ability to visualise scenarios along with my storytelling skills, combined with the talent from the rest of the team, enabled the design of a well-thought out solution.
