Biro drawn double portrait - I enjoy drawing portraits as they have less room for error - it is easy to spot mistakes. This is why I enjoy the challenge. This was completed in biro, creating an even bigger challenge.
Caribiner - Example of using lines for shading.
Desk chair - I enjoy testing different drawing styles, and sometimes I like to be a perfectionist. Using construction lines to draw this desk chair meant I could pinpoint exact spaces to ensure accuracy.
Stool 1 - Texture is important for detailed sketches that need to be annotated. This simple round stool was one of two initial concepts which required heavy annotation as part of a module in my undergraduate degree.
Stool 2 - This sketch is the second sketch of initial ideas (explanation in Stool 1). The texture is still prominent, however this sketch shows how shadowing techniques are used to good effect.
Still Life - A variety of objects draw from still life.
Mug, Keys, High Heel, Highlighter Pen, Wooden Comb
Portrait - Another portrait, this time in pencil. Drawn whilst on a moving train, challenging but fun!
Flower - Just something I wanted to have a go at.
