I co-developed this quick disconnect (QD) pull tab for Sidekick, Dephy’s flagship bionic footwear product with softgoods designer, Gillian Frink.

This was a design refinement project built upon the deep form and mechanical development work already accomplished by Dephy and Product Insight.

The pull tab design needed to achieve 4 key product goals: a) little to no product redesign, b) simple product assembly, c) easy pull tab replacement by users, and d)visual integration with Sidekick’s design language.
