9 international films representing 7 countries were showcased last May in Lawrence University’s first annual Latin American and Spanish Film Festival organized by Javier Guerrero. The theme of the festival focuses on the body and sex. The festival was Highlighted by a presentation by Paul Julian Smith, internationally recognized literary and film critic in Hispanic cultural studies.
