A sequential poster series addressing a politically topic created as part of my SCAD course work.? Overview The pro-choice movement is more than having the right to legal abortions. It’s also about making all options known so pregnant women can make an informed decision; as well as offering sex education to the female population and making birth control available to all, both of which help reduce the need for abortions.? Project Specs Poster series of 2–3 poster supporting the many facets that come together to create the pro-choice platform. The posters will be three color consisting of only 3 PMS colors.? Goals To increase the understanding of what pro choice means and broadening the importance of having a choice
As part of my SCAD course work I created this campaign around an idea of how to increase the awareness of Chicagoans with the movement of the neighborhood bikeways and the citywide benefits of protected bike lanes; not just for the cyclists. The campaign consisted of CTA billboards with a QR code for downloading a free game based riding your bike on a street.
Pro bono work I did for The Chicago Metal Arts Guild creating posters and postcards that would serve as recruitment tool to attract new/younger people to join. In the past their recruitment pieces showcased a few intricate jewelry pieces by board members and they wanted the new pieces to speak to people at all skill levels rather than just advanced. Solution By using a metalsmithing technique of etching the main message into copper sheet I crafted pieces that would catch the attention of all skill sets without giving the impression that the organization was only for professional artists.
