The final broadside in the progression, this poster delves into the state of comedy today with one of the more progressive and insightful comedians of the day, Jon Stewart. The headings and body type are all various weights of Gotham, a recently developed and ver famous typeface. I attempted to put my own spin on the graphic style of the show, with angles and geometry mocking the presentation of news programs. I also created icons to represent the staggering amount of critical acclaim, and used to body copy to detail the real political change being made by Jon Stewart and his efforts.

A very complex project from my Advanced Typography class, the assignment was focused on the history of type running parallel with a second historical theme. The progression of famous late night talk shows and comedy was the subject of my broadside posters, The project was very research heavy and focused on various exercises in typography such as typesetting, organization, and creative structure.
