Julia is a self-initiated chic french clothing boutique which name derives from the African butterfly Dryas iulia.
I figured I should focus on simplifying my hand lettering and design a simple, yet sophisticated logo. I focused on creating thin and thick strokes on the type, giving it a feminine, sensual and chic feel. I used the color of the butterfly and selected two colors that compliment its color.
This assignment is strictly for lettering, branding and color study and theory.
