This project involves the construction of a new fire hydrant pump room for an existing residential apartment building facing Penkvil Street. The pump room will house essential fire protection equipment, including a hydrant pump set on a 150mm high concrete plinth. The structure includes fire-rated walls and doors with Lorient air grilles, along with an exhaust fan for ventilation. A 5.99m long access path connects the pump room to Penkvil Street, ensuring easy access for maintenance and emergency response. The room is designed in compliance with NCC and AS 2419.1 standards, enhancing the site’s overall fire safety infrastructure while integrating with the existing building layout.
