During 2012, I worked on the Armour39 program as lead structural packaging designer alongside a team from Under Armour. We developed a cohesive kit design with two smaller rigid box slider packs containing the device, chest band and watch; all of which then fit inside a larger master rigid slider box. This is the final concept rendering of the combo kit packaging before launch. Kit was ready in time for the NFL combine.

Conceptual eco-friendly packaging for the Amazon Kindle tablet mobile device. I collaborated with Amazon's Lab 126 group to develop the next gen of Kindle Fire tablet packaging. We added an angled tear strip opening and then incorporated injection molded starch for the top and bottom molded device trays. Moving to this material allowed us to design a more intricate tray with more details and more precision than would be possible with most other heat-formed materials.
Conceptual eco-friendly packaging for the Amazon Kindle tablet mobile device. I collaborated with Amazon's Lab 126 group to develop the next gen of Kindle Fire tablet packaging. Initially I first explored conceptual designs with a focus of different box opening experiences as well as the use of injection molded starch. Utilizing this material allowed designs to be much more unique and precise, with the ability to incorporate features and details that wouldn't be possible with most other heat-formed materials.

Promotional launch kits for the new Motorola RAZR. This is the "HexFold" concept, which was a wrapped chip dynamic box with swing-open functionality. The primary phone was instantly visible while the dummy phone rested in the bottom compartment along with cables/accessories. Worked with both graphics and modeling. Final renders completed in SolidWorks.
Promotional launch kits for the new Motorola RAZR. This is the "TriFold" concept, a wrapped chip box with swing-open front lid. The sleeve contained the pack, as well as provided the MOTO eye reveal. The primary phone and dummy phone rested side by side, with cables/accessories in the bottom sliding tray. Worked with both graphics and modeling. Final renders completed in SolidWorks. This design was chosen and became the launch kit for the DROID RAZR in 2011.

3D Glasses Packaging Concept
TP Ortho wanted to "sexy" up their packaging to both look more appealing to customers, as well as be informative. This concept was based on using the brackets and printed information card on the inside to create a smile through the diecut window of the outer box for the first impression. Once the box was opened there was continued interaction as the customer learned about the bracket system.
Back in 2010, I worked with the Palm team to develop packaging for the HP Touchpad tablet. This was an initial concept I developed in 3D. It was chosen to further refine and eventually became the retail consumer packaging.
