myBaileywick.com - Challenge: Develop a site with two main functions: to act as an online brochure and to provide a gateway to the myBaileywick portal. The site, therefore, needed to establish and define the brand identity for Baileywick, but also provide an immediately visible path to the portal. Solution: By maximizing use of the brand identifiers - the honeycomb shape in the logo and a specific shade of blue - the brand 'essence' is immediately visible to the user. Developed using Macromedia tools, the site takes advantage of a small amount of Flash animation to illustrate the overlap of resources addressed by the management system. Thus reinforcing the need for the services provided by Baileywick.
SSE - Challenge: Bring the SSE brand to life online. The company had an outdated web site using 'dated' terminology, poor interface design practices, difficult to find navigation, and out of date content. The new site would more accurately reflect the company's business model, service offerings and mission. Content from the original site would need to be rewritten, information would need to be re-architected, and service divisions would need to be renamed clearly understood by site visitors. Solution: The SSE brand was now translated for use on the web. The new site is a solid marketing piece, much like the print collateral, but recognizing the web as a unique medium. It provides critical information about all service divisions and is an accurate reflection of the company's identity. A user-centric design and intelligent site architecture makes this site a success by all accounts.

Solution: Bold colors and a well-designed interface make the site more engaging and entices users to spend time exploring. Rearchitecting the site structure makes it easier for users to find useful information. Working with the client to create a customized administration tool resulted in an easily managed calendar of events.
