Headset
Early prototyping of a headset designed to fit underneath a helmet. It included active and passive noise reduction requirements and forward thought had to be given for ingress protection.
The plastic parts were prototyped on an Objet and had a heavy snap feature that is designed to be stripped from the mold in manufacturing. The soft goods I sewed together by hand and the hardened spring steel strap is a pre-hardened flat stock that I bent to shape by hand but still retain the spring properties for testing pruposes.
