Lyft - Self-Driving Vehicles
Manager, Lead Engineer and individual contributor developing self-driving vehicles for Lyft. Led the exteriors team while transitioning to a manager role. My team was responsible for all sensor layout and mounting design, cosmetics and liquid cooling loops and heat exchangers for rejecting 3kW of energy to the outside of the vehicle. We met strict structural, thermal, safety, cosmetic, and environmental requirements to produce a vehicle capable of L4 self-driving. I led the team while being personally responsible to the ID and engineering of the front bumper and packaging of heat exchangers that provided cooling of critical electronics.
