When I was at REI doing some field research I saw a huge opportunity to take advantage of. In the world of backpacking sales fit+comfort are tested by loading the bag with varying weights that have until now remained largely unbranded. I pitched to my boss the idea of owning the comfort and fit story through the in store fit center. In turn the concept was pitched to Gregory— they jumped on it. From there I developed sketches and from there I did 3D mock ups in Sketchup.
