X-tension - This project was an experimental approach on tensile architecture, tensile solar panel use and micro illumination. This installation was carried out during a workshop at Domaine de Boisbuchet, center of experimental design of the Vitra Design Museum, in cooperation with Moritz Waldemeyer, German designer in London, Ferrari Textiles, French manufacturer of technical textiles for architecture, and Power Film, a solar panel company based in Iowa.

X-tension

X-tension is an experimental approach on tensile architecture and low power consuming illumination. The structure supports a solar pannel powering a battery during the day. At night the battery turns on a low power LED based illumination. The project has been conducted with Venezualan designer Alejandro P. Figueredo
