Bergden Chiropractic - Dr. Jess Bergden, proprietor of Bergden Chiropractic, wanted an identity that sent the message that she wanted to communicate with her practice—that regular chiropractic care was a way for individuals to express life in its fullest capacity. A freeform dancing figure and elegant, but casual, script help send this message, and give practice members a hint about not only the care they're receiving, but the person they're receiving it from.
Event Diva—Rhode Island Monthly Bride Magazine Ad - The Event Diva, a Rhode Island-based event planner, needed an advertisement that showcased her unique flair and elegant, yet tongue-in-cheek way of planning special events. Using the character logo already created by the zen kitchen and photos taken from previous events tied together with playful circles, we were able to create a truly unique and memorable advertisement.
Sojourner House Annual Report - Sojourner House, a Providence, RI-based domestic violence agency, needed an annual report that was both cost-effective and communicated the success of their great work to their donors, both private and corporate. By incorporating photographs taken by the zen kitchen and a "timeline" along the bottom margin of the report, the agency was able to showcase important milestones in their history in a simple, elegant format that was cost-effective to reproduce.
joshwisdumb.com - Local sneaker/fine artist Josh Wisdumb needed a website to showcase both his paintings and the sneaker that he had just designed for New Balance. Incorporating strong color and the artist's own paintings as a backdrop for the art within, and a custom gallery for his artwork and sneakers, the new website received almost 50,000 hits on its first day, and the artist has gone on to receive increased media exposure and sign contracts for not only another New Balance sneaker, but a Reebok pump as well.
getunderground.com - flash navigation and banners - The HOTSPOTS banner (lower left) was the first project, to advertise the site's hotspots poetry reading database. The new navigation was done for a school project, along with a new layout and color scheme for the site, which was based on the color scheme of the hotspots banner. Upon seeing the new layout and navigation, the editor in chief and associate editor immediately decided to implement the new design. The black and white banner (lower right) was created for use on youandiproductions.com and is available, along with two others, both designed by me.
