Xbox Controller - Reverse Engineered

Reverse engineered Xbox 360 controller, redesigned for additive manufacture.

This project was a reverse engineering exercise. Predominantly using the ISDX tool in Creo, a skeleton model was created which was defined by class A surface modelling. From this, the rest of the geometry was created and the final outcome rendered in Maxwell.

It was redesigned for additive manufacture by removing the split-line between the main housing; this reduces the number of components and allows the body geometry to be changed to suit an individual users’ hand.
