Khamsa 3D Prosthetics is a nonprofit organization run out of Columbus, Ohio that focuses on the design, production and distribution of 3D Printed Prosthetics to those in need in Morocco.
Since I joined the core team from Casablanca since December 2018, I have designed a 3D printable leg prosthesis and helped with overall business direction, branding, social media, research, recipient relations, and 3D printing.
My favorite part though is meeting our recipients and being there for the delivery of their first prosthetic limb.
It's been an incredibly powerful experience, full of learning, empathy and hope.
