This sculpture honors the majestic beaver that once abundantly inhabited and thrived in this area (Portland, Oregon). The beaver — called I'na (eena) by the Chinook—faces the rising sun looking for a day when humans and nature harmonize.

2012- Cast and carved concrete with ceramic tile and galvanized steel. Collaboration with RFG Tile/Ruth Greenberg.

Commissioned by the Regional Arts and Culture Council. Portland, Oregon
