NEW SPECIES are coming. A frosted glass cross, an oxidized mirror square, a striped triangle, a series of concentric circles and a helix-patterned unicorn horn. These are NEW SPECIES, made up with small cut shapes of pure glass, either plain or frosted. Producible from smaller glass plates, that would otherwise be likely scrap, they take out, with little effort, the great iconic value of glass.
A series of five iconic shapes in glass defines a new domestic environment. Many use to fill in their rooms with bulky items instead of filling it with personality. ?NEW SPECIES are plenty of it and stand out as expressive, iconic pieces, that combine the role of a handle and a hook with marked aesthetic strength that defines environments with little. Bold, colored slices of solid glass are put together with copper stands into ironic layouts to appraise the material heritage we live in.
