Compact Mine Detector Interface
Design of a user interface for a compact countermine
detector. Commissioned by a major client
and evaluated by the Australian Defence Force,
this handle assembly was designed with for
comfortable use over lengthy periods.
In addition to the ergonomic factors of the handle
design, joystick-style controls were incorporated
to allow the user to focus on the ground. An
additional display can be added to left or right sides, as required.
