The Cat Who Chewed You New Shoes, three movie genre narratives to enhance the cinema concepts below. The visual images captures the viewers interest in reference to each genre.
Romantic Comedy version involves a female pastry owner, who landed the largest most prestigious catering job and was in desperate need of an assistant. She finds the perfect applicant, who turns out to be a drop dead gorgeous male with no regards for timeliness. Although very irresponsible, she thinks she is falling deeply in love.
Science Fiction version involves a genius career craved female industrial designer, who’s working on a top-secret robotic cat for the leading toy market. She goes to great lengths to meet her deadlines, even so far as bringing her work home. But to her surprise this cat had a developed a mind of it’s own.
Fantasy version was created from a normal blue-collar artist/writer in England. Daily this artist would see this most radiant white cat at the door of his art studio, and every day he would share the leftovers from his lunch. Returning home one late night mysteriously the cat was sitting at his front door, the immediate became best friends. While reading one night astonished how well the cat retrieved items, then he realized that there was something more to this beautiful white cat.

Cinema Based Advertisement
The designs were developed to convey an emotional connection with the audience that enhanced the cinema concept. The challenge was designing three version of the cinema advertisements based on The Romantic Comedy genre, The Science-Fiction genre, and The Fantasy genre. Each design concept utilized a hierarchy of content versus typography that established a unique short action phrase of information, and visuals, to evoke an emotional system of response from the viewer.
