Pazu - Seed - My team members and I agreed to pursue a balance between geometric and organic shape. I proposed this form based on a network of adjacent circles. I joined two of the circles to form a “seed” shape and cut a slot into one of them with a width equal to the material thickness. I repeated this “seed” in various positions to define both the positive and negative space for our puzzle piece.
Pazu - 3D Puzzle - The brief for this short-term group project was to design a 3D puzzle composed of at least six identical abstract forms. The form would be cut out of flat stock using a CNC router. We all breathed a sigh of relief when the children did not want to stop playing with puzzle when the shoot ended.
