Mid-size branding agency is looking for a Digital ACD. The work is a mix of Corporate and Consumer Branding The look is well crafted, warm, and at times humorous. How it accomplishes this while still feeling clean and smart is beyond me.The right candidate has Digital assets in their book that have depth and tell a story. The Clients are big and small brands. A portion of this work is presenting, so not only does this person need to be a top notch designer, but also an excellent communicator, someone who enjoys presenting work with pride and reason. This is hands on, but you will need to also be a leader, someone who can mentor Senior and Junior Designers. Your portfolio should show a 360 degree understanding of Branding, and work that spans both Digital, Print and Promotion. The breadth of the work is Advertising-like, but the esthetic is more Graphic Design driven.
The office is on the West Coast but is willing to look at full remote if candidate comfortable working West Coast hours.
You would be reporting into a CD who has run their own studio, so someone with not just creative smarts but business acumen. As for backgrounds.. a fit would be a person who has worked for Branding Design shops and/or Advertising. The main need is for an understanding of branding concepts, with a digital expertise. Creating websites and supporting digital assets.
