Role Specific Accountabilities
- Complete the creation of conceptual artwork that will be applied to packaging, labels, hangtags.
- Complete the creation of seasonal themes, mood boards for packaging design that supports category strategy and product development.
- Coordinate all packaging design processes with internal and external stakeholders
- Complete market research on trends and packaging design
Knowledge & Skills
Requirements
- 5+ years, experience as a packaging designer; at a brand design agency or in-house at a retailer
- Highly skilled in research, ideation, concepting, graphic design, typography, and colour theory
- Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Thorough understanding of illustration and food photography trends and techniques.
- Skilled in relationship and project management, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts or equivalent; experience working in the creative industry strongly preferred.
