GMR Marketing is seeking a Content Creative Director who will report to the Executive Creative Director and CCO to co-lead several pieces of business for one of the agency’s largest clients. The Creative Director is responsible for inspiring and leading world class, innovative creative work from concept to delivery. This includes overseeing and contributing to concept-led development, design and implementation of integrated concepts that both support the strategy and answer the brief. Delivers solutions that further increase reach and earned media while cultivating brand champions. This critical leadership role will be responsible for establishing the creative direction, style and methodology, and build the content platforms for assigned Experience Design projects.  

The Content Creative Director must be a pro at communication – In fact, this leader is a master at keeping the dialogue ongoing with the audience.  Whether pitching new business or writing for various audiences and brands, they must have the ability to garner consensus from a large team and obtain stakeholder buy-in on new complex or challenging ideas.  Additionally, the Content Creative Director (Content Director) will manage, evaluate, coach/mentor creative individuals within their influence and project teams. This role offers the ability to oversee work spanning a variety of marketing touchpoints and creative disciplines. These include experiential, events, tours, product launches, partnerships, digital, content and social media and on occasion, traditional above-the-line. Come help us lean into a content revolution.
An impressive portfolio and can deliver unforgettable world-class solutions that demonstrates mastery in concept strategy/execution, consumer stories, brand experiences and cultural “moments” on a global scale across all mediums and forums
Experience balancing the constraints of project timeline and budget and transition seamlessly amount projects of varying scale, audience, format and channel
Solid understanding of the business acumen and accountability to optimize the results
Outstanding presentation, written and verbal communication skills to represent the agency as a Creative Leader in live pitch presentations to clients.
Leads a variety of high visibility media and influencer programs designed to drive awareness, engagement, and brand equity
A solid understanding of social platforms and digital technology and can use it to create exciting engagement pieces that really fit into people’s lives
Strong organizational and time management skills
Adapt a “one team” mentality and partner with leadership to establish and champion clear strategic vision and purpose for the team and support integration of all disciplines.

A thorough understanding of what makes for compelling work, regardless of medium, and an ability to generate innovative ideas that create buzz and get results.
Remains current and aware of pop culture, trends and techniques.
Translates client briefs and objectives to creative briefs that inspire the creative team.
Lead internal review sessions and provide clear and objective critiques of creative work and how it delivers on the brief demonstrating best-in-class presentation and communication skills – and use them extensively as a powerful voice and through leader
Progresses oneself and supports the development of other creatives.
Makes bold, decisive decisions and recommendations, demonstrating strong judgement, paying close attention to detail.
Removes barriers so team can focus on creating great work.  Gives credit, takes blame.

Significant management and mentoring experience and collaborates well with colleagues from around the world.
