Cheil Worldwide is the 13th-largest creative agency in the world. Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, we were founded by Samsung in 1973 to grow its local and global business. While Samsung is still one of our main clients, our roster has evolved to include other globally recognized brands such as Adidas, Coca-Cola, ESPN, Lego, Nivea, PayPal, Starbucks and many more.
Cheil Inside is our small but mighty brand studio. Cheil Inside serves as the lead agency partner for all Samsung Corporate Brand Marketing initiatives in North America. It’s the think tank and creative partner to the look, sound and feel of all Samsung imaging and collateral. About the Role
Like you, this job is multidimensional. And every aspect is crucial to creating culturally relevant work.
Lead both the social, digital and activation projects.
Work directly with the client to build relationships and push innovation.
Maintain responsibility for all deliverables within the projects, consistently ensuring world-class work for both our agency and our clients.
Oversee the creative process and provide clear and actionable feedback to help elevate the work.
Jump in and get your hands dirty by actively working the work when needed, and/or leading the junior or freelance teams as needed.
Show up and show off with impressive ideas that make everyone wish they’d thought of them first. And help the rest of your team learn to do the same.
Deliver engaging campaigns that are tight and consistent across all executions and always ladder up to the strategic insight.
Concept and script beautiful and compelling films for OLV.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment every step of the way.
Build relationships and manage outside partners to ensure work supports brand standards and achieves our creative and strategic goals.
Be a steady and guiding hand through production, including being the creative lead on-set and in post.
Fight the good fight. Push for brilliant and unfamiliar concepts that make clients uncomfortable (in a good way).
Deliver compelling and theatrical presentations that make men and women laugh, cry, and applaud. But more importantly, feel that you “get” and “got” them.

Understand and uphold the brand voice and style guide for our agency and our clients.
Lead by example and set the standard for creative excellence in the Copywriting discipline.

About the Requirements
You’ve got to check the boxes before you can think outside of them.
Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
At least 7-10 years of agency and/or in-house creative experience as a copywriter focused on developing successful campaigns with measurable results.
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor full time and freelance creative talent.
An online portfolio of smart, exciting, and award-winning work that shows a range of conceptual and tactical executions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, adhering to timelines in a fast-paced environment with high client expectations.
Experience leading shoots and working closely with production.
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
Collaborative and works well with others, while still taking independent initiative.
Social, campaign and promotional experience is required.
Passionate, positive, and solution-oriented.
Open to travel, extended hours, and weekend work as necessary.
